Preparing ahead of time for a lacrosse tournament is integral in preventing player injuries and maximizing performance. Relaxation and breathing helps players relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and improve focus and concentration. Stretching can increase flexibility, increase muscle strength, improve balance, breathing and energy. Cardio training such as running, hiking, bicycling and skiing benefits lower body strength and endurance. Keep a soccerball readily on-hand to practice, and remember to have fun!
